			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="visibility: visible" id="main"><span style="visibility: visible" id="search"><em>ACORN</em>, the <em>Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now<br />
</em></span></span> is our Organization of the Year for removing several members of their board of directors who asked for a financial audit.</p>
<p>Normally, the board of directors of a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization are charged with being responsible for ensuring that the organization is working towards their stated goal. Any 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRY6WTX9tgM" target="_blank">removes board members for wanting to do their job</a> raises all sorts of warning signals.</p>
<p>Corruption must be widespread if an organization can to this and not be <a href="http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/jun/26/conyers-backs-off-probe-of-acorn-practices/?feat=home_headlines" target="_blank">investigated by either Congress</a> who is giving them lots of money or the IRS.</p>
